Ola to introduce e-scooter by January 2021
OLA, a taxi booking service through Aap, is now launching electric scooters. Ola is likely to introduce e-scooters by January next year. Initially, it will be built in a factory in the Netherlands. It will then be sold in the Indian and European markets, according to development sources. The e-scooter is expected to be competitively priced against the current petrol scooter, as the company wants to tap most of India's 20 million units-two-wheeler markets. It is said that the government is planning to set up its own factory in the country to participate in the "Self-reliant India Campaign" and meet local demand. ଓଲା ଆସନ୍ତା ବର୍ଷ ଜାନୁଆରୀ ସୁଦ୍ଧା ଇ-ସ୍କୁଟର ପ୍ରବର୍ତ୍ତନ କରିବାର ସମ୍ଭାବନା ଅଛି | ଆରମ୍ଭରେ ଏହା ନେଦରଲ୍ୟାଣ୍ଡ୍ସ୍ଥିତ ଏକ କାରଖାନାରେ ନିର୍ମାଣ କରାଯିବ। ଏହା ପରେ ଭାରତ ଏବଂ ୟୁରୋପର ବଜାରରେ ବିକ୍ରି ହେବ ବୋଲି ବିକାଶର ସୂତ୍ରରୁ ପ୍ରକାଶ। ଇ-ସ୍କୁଟର ବର୍ତ୍ତମାନର ପେଟ୍ରୋଲ ସ୍କୁଟର ବିରୋଧରେ ପ୍ରତିଦ୍ୱନ୍ଦ୍ୱିତାମୂଳକ ମୂଲ୍ୟ ଧାର୍ଯ୍ୟ ହେବ ବୋଲି ଆଶା କରାଯାଉଛି, କାରଣ କମ୍ପାନୀ ଭାରତର 20 ନିୟୁତ ୟୁନିଟ୍-ଦୁଇ ଚକିଆ ବଜାରର ଅଧିକାଂଶ ଅଂଶକୁ ଟ୍ୟାପ୍ କରିବାକୁ ଚାହୁଁଛି।
କୁହାଯାଉଛି, ସରକାର ‘ଆତ୍ମନିର୍ଭର ଭାରତ ଅଭିଯାନ’ରେ ଭାଗ ନେବା ଏବଂ ସ୍ଥାନୀୟ ଚାହିଦା ପୂରଣ କରିବା ପାଇଁ କମ୍ପାନୀ ଦେଶରେ ଏହାର କାରଖାନା ସ୍ଥାପନ କରିବାକୁ ଚିନ୍ତା କରୁଛି। ତେବେ ଏ ବିଷୟରେ OLAକୁ ପଠାଯାଇଥିବା ଏକ ଇ-ମେଲ୍ ଉତ୍ତର ଦେଇନାହିଁ
