Eligible unmarried male and unmarried female candidates can submit their applications on the official website joinindianarmy.nic.in till 3.00 PM today, April 6.
The recruitment drive aims at filling 191 vacancies. 175 vacancies are for SSC(Tech) Men, 14 SSCW(Tech) Women, and 2 vacancies for Widows of Defence Personnel.

Eligibility criteria for Indian Army Recruitment 2022
What is the age limit?
Candidates must be at least 20 years old and no older than 27 years on October 1, 2022.
Educational Qualification: Candidates must have completed the required Engineering Degree course. Candidates enrolled in the final year Engg degree program must be able show proof of passing Engg Examination and mark sheets from all semesters/years. The Engg Degree Certificate will be produced within 12 weeks of the date that the training began at Officers Training Academy (OTA), Chennai. Tamil Nadu.
Educational Qualification for Widows of Indian Armed Forces Defence
Personnel who Died in Harness.
(i) SSCW (Non Tech) (Non UPSC)-Graduation in any Discipline.
(ii) SSCW (Tech)-B.E. / B. Tech in any Engineering stream.

Based on their rank in the final order (engineering stream-wise), the selected candidates will be sent to Officers Training Academy, Chennai. The training will last for 49 weeks.
