Bhubaneswar: The daily infection rate of Covid-19 in Odisha is steadily declining.
In the last 24 hours, 5896 new infections have been identified in the state. Of these, a maximum of 853 was identified from the Khordha district.

Proposals to buy state vaccines will be cancelled
-The state's tender process will be cancelled after Prime Minister Narendra Modi announces free vaccinations for the youth.
Bhubaneswar: The state government will no longer need the Global Tender Proposal (Global Tender) process, which was launched less than a month ago by the state government for free vaccination for young people between the ages of 18 and 44. A senior official said the tender process in the state would be cancelled after Prime Minister Narendra Modi announced that free vaccinations would be given to the youth. On the other hand, there has been a kind of enthusiasm among the youth over the Prime Minister’s announcement during the lack of vaccines.
Bhadrak / Chandbali / Dhamra: A delegation from the Union Home Ministry, India visited Bhadrak district today to assess the damage. Bipul Kumar Srivastava, Director, Ministry of Agriculture, Government of India, Suraj Kumar Pradhan, Joint Director, Ministry of Finance and Shaswat Mohapatra, Executive Engineer, Road Transport Department, landed at Dhamra Helipad.
The team first supervised the repair work of the 11 kV power substation in front of the Dhamra port gate. Later, went to Amarnagar, Sabitri Sarai, Jyotsnamayinagar villages of Dosinga panchayat and saw the demolished house.
From there, they investigated the condition and damage of Jayadurgapatna Kianali Sluice Gate, 33 kV power structure of Dosinga Panchayat, Paiksahi village of Jagula Panchayat, damage to rural development road at Narsinghpur junction, damage to Oramal village, power outage in Balbhadraprasad village.
